As with Resi 2 (2019), Capcom brought back a number of things from original game.

Quotes

Speaking to Dario Rosso several times brings:

"I'm not going anywhere! I'd rather starve to death in here than be eaten by one of those undead monsters! Now leave me alone!"

After taunting 'crazy-ass stalker', Jill exclaims:

"You want S.T.A.R.S.!? I'll give you S.T.A.R.S.!"

This occurs early on, so timing makes no sense.

Now things get itchy and tasty.

As Jill emerges from sewer, Nemmy grabs tall drink of water by the head.

Cut scene smacks of title screen and/or concept art.

Jill obtaining handgun from corpse is very similar to static shot during intro.

Unique death sequences largely concern the big man, and one in particular rang loud bells.

Nemmy picks up Jill and lets tentacle do the rest.

Weirdly, Brad's demise plays out in reverse.
