Summary
At the Hundred Acre Wood, Christopher Robin meets creatures Owl, Rabbit, Eeyore, Piglet and Winnie-the-Pooh.
Years later, Christopher abandons friends to become a doctor, leaving them to fend for themselves.
On the brink of starvation, Pooh decides they must eat Eeyore to survive.
Developing a hatred for all things human, feral monsters swear never to talk again.
Five years later, Christopher takes wife Mary Lou to the HAW.
Piglet kills Mary, with Pooh and Piglet apparently doing the same to him.
We jump to university student Maria, who along with friends, rents a cabin in the HAW to get over a traumatic experience with a stalker.
Oh bother
Aside from title, animated short and impressive sound design, this predictably met extremely low expectations.
Shit isn't bad in a good way - just FUCKING AWFUL.
In a nutshell, this primarily rips off The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (2003), elements of Friday the 13th (2009) and towards the end, even Halloween Kills.
Characters are nothing more than victims and as for screenplay and acting - don't get me started.
Pooh and Piglet begin as animals, then magically evolve into people. Hilariously, actors faces are occasionally exposed underneath costumes.
Environments are poorly lit and not even kills rescue situation.
A sequel has been confirmed, with Bambi and Peter Pan reportedly expanding universe.
Great.
