Summary

16 months after the events of predecessor, Gwen reveals her Spider-Woman identity to policeman father Captain George Stacy.

Years prior, she accidentally killed bestie Peter Parker while he was rampaging as the Lizard, and has been hunted ever since.

Brooklyn
Earth-1610

15-year-old Miles encounters The Spot (whose body is infused with portals) while he's robbing a convenience store.

Following the Alchemax explosion, scientist turned supervillain blames Miles for his predicament.

At Nueva York, Earth-928, hundreds of Spider variants reside.

Miguel tells Miles that saving a person's life in Mumbattan disrupted a canon event, blowing a hole in the Multi-Verse.

Learning The Spot will kill his father in two days, Miles goes rogue, enraging Miguel.

The Self Preservation Spider-Society

Although we knew in advance that 'Beyond' will complete trilogy, sandwich filler (unlike the Halloween Kills of this world), tasted delicious.

Superb action moves at breakneck pace and multiple art styles ooze quality.

Performances and screenplay are sharper than a tack and characters possess personalities which tug on heartstrings.

Ignoring inevitable refs and cameos, the influence of Akira shines through, with Jessica's bike skid setting the tone.

If I had to nitpick, primary Spiders revealing backstories felt unnecessary.

Regardless, bring on conclusion.
