Summary
Film kicks off with a quote by Oscar Wilde:
One should always be in love...
...that is the reason one should never marry.
Failed musician Joe is married to Angela, and their marriage is more stagnant than a swamp.
He returns home learning Angela has invited their 'cool' upstairs neighbours Pina and Hawk for a dinner party, resulting in an evening of awkward conversations and emotional warfare.
Tonight is on the table
Deep dive into sex and relationships was as excruciating as it was hilarious.
Performances are wonderful, with Rogen reminding everybody what a hoot he can be.
After farcically falling into a wall, blowing guaranteed sex with Pina, Angela sees Joe's bad back as an inconvenience of having an orgy.
(Laughs).
Comedy and drama gets uneven in the third act, but literally ends on a touching note, as Angela joins Joe in playing the piano.
