Summary

After Jessica and her family move back to their childhood home, Alice finds a teddy bear hidden in the basement and names him Chauncey.

Youngest daughter becomes obsessed with completing a scavenger hunt for imaginary friend, as plaything promises to take her on a 'trip' to where 'he' came from.

Events take a sinister turn and dormant memories from Jessica's past are awoken.

The Never Ever

Vapid domestic drama is bereft of gore, suspense or tension.

Oh, screenplay and acting is also fucking awful.

Considering M. C. Escher-esque realm is powered by imagination, it's extremely impressive that shitty climax is devoid of any.

During the final 10 minutes, creature's initial form is like a cross between Labyrinth's Ludo and Sewer Monster from Big Trouble in Little China.

Err, okay.

Its true self (Simon the Spider), attempts to paralyse peeps by staring at them with kaleidoscope eyes.

Were they trying to rip off Pennywise or something?
