Summary

Years after his mother Neela was killed by corrupt police chief Rana Singh (sent by ultranationalist Baba Shakti) to overthrow a forest village in India, the Kid (going under the name of Bobby), makes a living as a monkey-masked fighter.

Queenie Kapoor runs luxury brothel Kings, which Rana regularly frequents.

Plotting revenge against Baba, Kid arranges for Queenie's wallet to be stolen and returns it.

He's rewarded with a job in the kitchen and befriends gangster Alphonso.

At a local temple, whose transgender community is being targeted by Baba's political movement, its leader Alpha encourages Kid to vigorously train himself in the art of combat.

His new-found purpose releases suppressed rage.

The Mighty Hanuman

Despite a pedestrian opening, once shit gets going - it doesn't hold back.

When Kid visits an arms dealer to buy a gun, a joke about John Wick is made, and that's what essentially this becomes.

Camera can be shaky, but fight choreography delivers brutal gory violence.

After the main massacre in Kings (where Kid is assisted by Alpha and fellow warriors), showdown with Rana is satisfying rather than ridiculous.

Before killing Baba and succumbing to his injuries, Kid stepping out of elevator recreates poster.

Cool.
