Unrelated to 2007 film of same name, action thriller is directed by Ben Wheatley and written by John Wick creator Derek Kolstad.

Henry Winkler - Mayor Kibner
Lena Headey - Moira
Billy MacLellan - Deputy Mike Nelson
Reena Jolly - Lori
Ryan Allen - Deputy Blaine Anderson
Brendan Fletcher - Keith
Peter Shinkoda - Joe
Jess McLeod - Alex
Summary
Disgraced Yakuza member Joe is sent to Normal, Minnesota, to redeem himself.
Three weeks later, Ulysses arrives in sleepy town as interim sheriff, following the death of his predecessor.
During a bank robbery, Ulysses enters to negotiate with Lori and Keith, but in doing so, his deputies unload, revealing the corrupt Mayor Kibner is working with the Yakuza.
Rather than arresting them, he allies himself, uncovering a huge criminal operation.
Taking the Yakuza's heavy artillery from the bank's vault, shit is about to get noisy.
Good people. Small problems.
While story is shallow and script corny, action in 'Fargo meets Hot Fuzz' is its saving grace.
Returning to the itchy trigger mode of Free Fire (2016), Wheatley consistently sprays enough bullets to make sure the vast majority of town are dead.
Despite a fun appearance from Fonzie (who soon gets blown up), Odenkirk virtually carries the entire film on his grumpy shoulders.
Against the upbeat irony of When You're in Love with a Beautiful Woman, the final 10 minutes pits law enforcement against the Yakuza. Unfortunately, bloody climax largely just rehashes earlier sequences.
I don't suppose a sequel (Abnormal) will be commissioned, but we end one month later with Ulysses and Lori in Placid Shores, Texas, on another substitute sheriff assignment.
