Summary

Friends Daniel and Lucas are driving down a road at night, where Daniel is suddenly killed by an unseen attacker, prompting Lucas to flee.

Meanwhile, married couple to be Maddie and Tyler are overtaken by Lucas, who crashes into a tree.

Lucas tries to escape, but is dragged back inside and killed.

Before leaving the scene, Maddie and Tyler notice three mysterious claw marks on Lucas's vehicle.

The following day, the side of their van now bears identical scratches, and soon find themselves stalked by a malevolent being.

Threat is eliminated when Maddie uses van to impale it onto a certain statue.

However, using Iggy Pop's The Passenger for end credits was spectacularly stupid and also cringing.
