65 - The scoop and digest

Scott Beck and Bryan Woods write and direct Cretaceous action thriller.

Adam Driver - Commandant Mills
Ariana Greenblatt - Koa

Summary

65 million years ago on the planet Somaris, Mills leaves his family to embark on a exploratory mission to raise money to treat his daughter's illness.

On the way home, his spaceship is split in half by an asteroid belt, forcing an emergency landing on Earth.

He finds a survivor named Koa, but language barrier makes communication difficult.

After Mills discovers that ship's other half contains an escape vessel, an arduous journey begins.

Prehistoric The Last of Us

Extremely boring and instantly forgettable, this does Kylo Ren's filmography no favours.

Precious little dino action is compensated by lots of walking and running.

Nice.

Makeshift Joel and Ellie share zero chemistry, and relationship is awkward and forced.

Climax with a pair of Tyrannosaurs felt like a cut scene from Dino Crisis.

In fact, the whole thing is a shitty video game.
