The Inbetweeners co-creator Iain Morris directs Glastonbury-esque comedy.
Summary
After girlfriend Caitlin (Hannah Tointon) dumps Nick (Joe Thomas) at graduation ceremony, Shane (Hammed Animashaun) attempts to cheer up best bud by dragging his ass to a music festival.
Can Shane realise ambition of meeting world famous DJ Hammerhead?
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Considering how bad first act was, I honestly thought things would perk up once primary setting was reached.
What a fucking idiot.
To call this a forced, ill-conceived embarrassment is being generous.
Screenplay by Keith Akushie and Joe Parham is absolutely abysmal, and the Pirate changing Nick's name to 'Lick' is apparently hilarious.
(Shakes head).
Also, some asshole believes Nick looks like Harry Potter.
Of course he doesn't, but oh my GOD.
Performances from all concerned are lifeless (unsurprisingly, Joe Thomas is just Simon... again), and sadly, bomb isn't dropped on annoying support.
First Tomb Raider, now this piece of shit? Nick Frost must be getting desperate.
Even a potentially clever Pulp Fiction parody is bungled.
Noel Fielding's Hammerhead suffers an allergic reaction to eating Amy's food, so peeps attempt to revive living legend by 'stabbing' chest with allergy pen.
It's just done so badly.
Let's go through bizarre rip offs.
About halfway through, Nick wakes up in somebody's car with nipple pierced and no recollection of the night before.
And so investigation begins.
I think we can safely say sequence contracted The Hangover.
Towards the end, Shane steps in for Hammerhead and dons rubbish mask. From then on, camera gives us regular close up shots of substitute's face, looking suspiciously IDENTICAL to Iron Man.
Honestly, what the FUCK?
Neil, Will and Jay unexpectedly turning up at nightmarish gig could have been ultra cool.
If only sound idea was given a second thought.
