Fall - The scoop and digest

Writer/director Scott Mann takes fear to new heights.

Grace Caroline Currey - Becky
Virginia Gardner - Hunter
Mason Gooding - Dan
Jeffrey Dean Morgan - James

Summary

While rock-climbing, Becky watches in horror as hubby Dan plummets to his death.

Thankfully, that's where similarities to Cliffhanger end.

51 weeks later, Becky has since become alcohol dependant.

Hunter visits best friend and suggests they ascend the B67 TV Tower to spread Dan's ashes.

After deed is done, Becky's descent causes ladder to collapse, leaving them stranded at the top.

Adrenaline junkies must draw on all their experience to survive, or perish at over 2000 feet.

High tension, maximum cleavage

Dizzying cinematography and convincing VFX on a modest budget of just $3m delivers plenty of excitement.

Once shit gets real, leads carry the final hour with admirable creativity.

In order to achieve a lesser rating, f-bombs were artificially dubbed out.  If you ask me, Lionsgate made a freaking stupid decision.

Ignoring the unnecessary reveal of her affair with Dan, twist of Hunter dying when she fell onto satellite dish and becoming the product of Becky's hallucination was obvious, but still satisfying.

All in all, another worthy addition to the genre.
