Rock me Asmodeus

Archetypal of series, not a lot happens at first, but as sinister dots are joined, the last 30 minutes or so moves at pace.

Boo moments are predictable, but still pretty effective.

As things escalate, we witness cult leader Jacob sacrificing a mutant two-headed goat which is taken to an isolated church.

Soon after, Margot is inevitably attacked by an unseen force.

New antagonist is the Prince of Lust, Suffering and Wrath, Overlord of Nine Hells and the Prince of Demons.

Yeah, this guy's got nearly as many names as Apollo Creed.

Kyli Zion and Kirby Johnson each portray Sarah and anorexic freak is appropriately horrible.

Body-hopping demon uses women as vessels, hence why they require Margot.

I guess that explains subtitle.

Principle is the opposite of Hereditary, as Paimon is born through a male host.

After Margot and Chris survive ordeal, the police arrive and cult member Samuel (already possessed by Asmodeus), kills them and drives away as credits roll.

The announcement of eighth instalment is surely just a matter of time.
